Since its inception in 1955, the Commonwealth Lawyers Association has collaborated with the 54 nations of the Commonwealth and beyond to promote and uphold the Rule of Law and to provide an international platform to lawyers in jurisdictions where the Rule of Law is challenged. The Commonwealth Law Conference is one of the most prestigious events on the global legal calendar, with its high calibre speakers and Programme.
In March 2023, India is hosting CLC23 in Goa. Some 1000 delegates from across the Commonwealth including emerging and experienced lawyers, Senior and Queen’s Counsel, High Court, Appeal and Supreme Court Judges, Chief Justices and Attorneys General will come together in Goa to debate and explore the Conference theme of “Commonwealth lawyers - common challenges in uncommon times”.
